What to Expect at Your Appointment and How to Prepare

 

Your initial consultation will be 45 minutes.  The consultation will involve review of your 3-month headache diary and review of the details of your headache characteristics, lifestyle, diet, your past medical history, current medications and a physical examination. Further investigations (CT, MRI, MR angiogram, lumbar puncture) maybe necessary.

 

A personalized treatment plan for your headaches will be developed including recommended lifestyle and dietary changes, +/- supplements and medications.

 

Before your appointment we must receive:

 

1.     Receive a referral from your GP including information on your past medical history and current medications
